Linden Hills Environment Committee

The Environment Committee meets at the Linden Hills Park building on the second Thursday of each month. Please contact Constance Pepin, committee chair, to confirm the next meeting date. The Committee is always interested in adding new members–come to a meeting to see what we are about, or contact LHiNC.

The next Environment Committee meeting will be Thursday, August 22 at 6:30 pm at Linden Hills Park.

Committee Mission
To assist the Linden Hills neighborhood in creating and maintaining a sustainable, beautiful and healthy environment for Linden Hills residents. This includes, but is not limited to, creating and maintaining a healthy urban forest, care and concern for the quality of the lakes and the watershed of which we are a part, the quality of the air and the beauty of our surroundings. We act by educating residents about more sustainable ways of interacting with the environment, planting trees, and organizing and empowering residents to work on environmental issues of concern to them.

Committee Chair: Constance Pepin

Committee Members: The committee is always interested in adding new members to the committee. If you have an interest in joining the committee, come to a meeting to meet us and see what we are all about, or contact LHiNC at info@lindenhills.org.

Ongoing Projects

William Berry Woods: The LHiNC Environment Committee has adopted the small urban forest north of Lake Harriet along Richfield Road. Help us make the woods an even better place for our neighborhood to enjoy.
