Calling all canines and their humans: join the festivities at the Linden Hills Business Association’s 9th annual Woofstock: a day of leash, love and celebration. Taking place at 43rd St & Upton Ave in Linden Hills, the event features dog-friendly exhibits, dog tricks, and fun for all. Last year’s Woofstock was attended by over 4,000 dog-lovers!

Tilia’s third annual block party is set for Sunday, August 18 from 12:00 to 9:00 pm. Augtoberfest offers fun and amusements for all ages, including live music, games for the kids, face painting, food, and a selection of beer and wine.

The event, sponsored by The Current will take place on 43rd St on the block east of Upton Ave., giving residents and visitors a taste of the Bavarian tradition just a bit ahead of schedule. The outdoor event will ring in the release of this season’s Oktoberfest beer varieties with homegrown bands and food that’ll rock your taste buds. The zero-waste, family-friendly event also includes the Wild Rumpus kids area and lemonade stand run by the kids of Tilia with proceeds benefiting People for Parks.
